Few have devoted more time and energy into the sport of volleyball than Kåre Mol.
Through his roughly 20 years of playing and 30 years of coaching, net systems have remained hard to use. He decided that it is time for a change.
Mol Volleyball Products aims to solve a problem: How can we make net systems for volleyball easier and more intuitive to set up? Here is the answer.
The story
There has always been a burning commitment to being able to simplify, develop and make the sport of volleyball more accessible to coaches and teachers.
There aren't many people out there with more experience setting up and taking down volleyball nets all over the world.
In 2008, Kåre launched Longnet, an innovative net solution for ball sports aimed at children and youth. Today, with almost 20 years of experience in the volleyball equipment business, he decided to take it one step further. Volleyball net systems are notoriously hard to set up, and expensive to switch out.
After setting up and taking down countless volleyball nets all over the world, Kåre thought to himself:
Why can't we just make our own net systems?
So that's what he set out to do. The result is here.
